Sally Siner:
Actor/Workshop Leader |
Sally graduated from the Birmingham School of
Acting (BSSD as it was known then) in 2001. Since then she has worked
extensively in theatre (Lichfield Garrick, Nottingham Playhouse &
Leicester Haymarket amongst others) and in particular children’s
theatre, working for Speakeasy and Red Earth Theatre companies before
joining Tangere Arts four years ago.
Sally’s Tangere highlights include: Babes; Party
Time; Moving On Up & presently, in a new one-woman show “Lauren” as well
as leading countless workshops and directing young people. After
working with teenagers (as well as pretending to be one!) for the past
few years, Sally has recently drawn on this experience to begin writing
fiction for young adults and hopes that this will develop into a
subsidiary career, alongside her first love of acting.
Sally also works in corporate training and
assessment (using drama) for companies/organisations – as well as being
a frequent voice-over artist. She has also devised and performed in
several musical shows for the elderly in residential settings.
Sally lives in
Derbyshire with her partner, Rob & son Otis, with stepdaughters Jessica
& Eleanor on high days and holidays. |
