“Party Time” was commissioned
by PSHE/Citizenship Curriculum Team at Derby City Council, to exploring
peer pressure and alcohol use. It has toured to Derby City secondary
schools, in 2006 and 2007 for year 7/8.
“Party Time” was devised by
the acting company (Sally Siner, Anthony Adesida, Janet Young) and
directed Gary Lagden. The show performs with a multicultural
cast in-the-round. Using performance and participatory workshop
elements, the audience engage with the issues raised around safety
issues and alcohol, friendship communication skills and respect. The
project is supported by comprehensive Teachers Notes that were written
by teachers and the Curriculum Team. |
