Moving on Up
has toured successfully for five years now to primary and secondary
schools throughout Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby City and
Derbyshire
to support
secondary schools to support year 6 pupils, who are moving to new
schools in the Autumn term.
Moving
on Up
contains a stimulating and powerful 15-minute performance, which follows
the relationship between two young people in a new school environment
exploring issues around creating new relationships/friendships and
bullying. After the performance there is an opportunity for the audience
to engage and to question the characters directly through hot-seating
and focussing on the role of the bystander in particular.
