Tangere Arts is a theatre and drama in
education organisation based in rural Derbyshire, which provides a wide
range of theatre performances and educational workshops, mainly to
children, young people and community audiences within the East Midlands
Region.
David Johnston, Ava Hunt, Sally Siner and Gary Lagden are the driving force behind
Tangere Arts and combine over 70 years of experience delivering high
quality theatre, drama workshops and training in an innovative and fun
way. We regularly work with 17-18,000 young people and
adults a year.
Tangere Arts works in association with various partners including:
Derby Playhouse, Nottingham Playhouse, Manchester Royal Exchange,
Unicorn Children's Theatre, Derby City Education Authority, Derbyshire
Health Authority, Creative Partnerships and Nottingham City Education
Authority.

Still to come:
"I'm No Hero" a new multi media performance piece
celebrating the difference one person can make. Irena Sendler
(died May 2008) saved 2,500 children from Nazi occupied Warsaw.
This new production will tour regionally in January 2009 to celebrate
survivors on Holocaust Day. For more information please contact the
