Tangere Arts is a theatre company based in rural Derbyshire, which provides a wide range of theatre performances and educational workshops, mainly to children, young people and community audiences within the East Midlands Region, but also nationally and internationally.

The company delivers a wide range of work from working with young offenders, young people with mental health issues, nurseries, studio theatre, multi-media theatre, Creative Partnerships and youth theatre - see links.

"I'm No Hero" - public performances 19th January @ 2pm & 20th January @ 2pm & 7pm at Old Library Theatre, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

Also in January 2010 - Three shows "Digger", "Lauren" & "Party Time" perform in three residences in schools: Da Vinci, Ilkeston, & Tibshelf Secondary in Derbyshire, highlighting alcohol misuse and alcohol awareness.  Funded by DRINKAWARE. (Follow the Health Education Links)

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of a dear friend, artist and close colleague - Noel Greig who died September 9th 2009.  Noel wrote "Hood in the Wood", "Tasty Tale" and was most recently commissioned to write "Tin Solider" for the company. 

He will be sadly missed but never forgotten..
