Tangere Arts is a theatre company based in rural Derbyshire, which provides a wide range of theatre performances and educational workshops, mainly to children, young people and community audiences within the East Midlands Region, but also nationally and internationally.

David Johnston, Ava Hunt, Sally Siner and Gary Lagden are the driving force behind Tangere Arts and combine over 70 years of experience delivering high quality theatre, drama workshops and training in an innovative and fun way. 

We work with 18,000 young people and adults a year.

Tangere Arts is currently working in association with Uncontained Arts a new company created by emerging artists with Buxton Opera House and University of Derby.  Uncontained Arts will be touring a new production of "The Little Mermaid" for audiences nationally until 19th July 2009.
